• Introduction to Composites – Fundamentals of Composites, What are composites and why are they used? (A more technical overview than the managers Course)
• Designing with Composites – Including Stacking Rules, Design Rules, Tolerances, Lightning Strike and Corrosion Protection
• Stressing Composites – Including Classical Laminate Analysis, Through Thickness, Bolted Joints, Bonded Joints, Tailoring Properties and Knockdowns, Damage Tolerance
• Manufacturing with Composites - Resin/Fibre Types, Laying Up, Curing, Part Finishing, Assembly, Health and Safety

Many of our courses include “Hands On” worked examples using both customer proprietary and public tools and methods as well as many opportunities to ask questions of our highly experienced trainers, each a specialist in their chosen field.

Aerocomp has designed and delivered a variety of course types, from internal staff-training courses, introductory courses for companies just starting to realise the potential of composites, right through to HNC and Degree level courses for institutions such as Yeovil College and The University of the West of England.
